A Java Runtime Environment or Java Development Kit must already be installed. Java must have version 1.5/5.0 or newer. If you do not have an installation of Java, visit http://java.sun.com to download a version. We recommend using JDK 6.

To run Animal, please input the following command and press RETURN: java -jar Animal-x.y.z.jar. Note: you have to replace the x.y.z by your version number, e.g. "2.3.14". On many platforms, double clicking on the JAR file will also work.
